One hassle for mom with kids is to go to a toilet while you are out. In facilities like department stores and museums, you are most likely to find multipurpose toilets which allows entry with wheelchairs and baby carts.

The one here is from Amlux, Toyota showroom in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. They offer a baby chair (especially handy when your baby child is less than 6 months old and cannot stand on their own), a changing table, toilets for adults with supporting bars on the side for wheel chair users, baby toilets (post-diaper kids), and sinks in two heights. The facility should cover a wider range of age groups than a standard, confined toilet compartment.

But the biggest value here is not the equipments: ultimately what we need is a clean facility with space. These are essential conditions for mothers to feel comfortable bringing little babies. And you know, babies, they touch EVERYTHING.
